Field Sales Representative via Ascentech Services Limited – Ikeja

An unnamed industrial equipment supplier is recruiting a Field Sales Representative in Ikeja, Lagos State through Ascentech Services Limited. The position will sell industrial tools, compressors, forklifts, cleaning equipment and lubricants.

Key responsibilities

• Build new accounts among manufacturing, engineering, industrial and construction customers.
• Visit prospects, explain equipment solutions, prepare quotations, negotiate and close sales.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and work towards assigned commercial targets.
• Monitor competitor activities, customer requirements and changes in demand.
• Follow up on sales orders, prepare activity reports and coordinate fulfilment.

Qualifications and requirements

• BSc, HND or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Two to three years’ experience in B2B or field sales, preferably with industrial tools or machinery.
• Familiarity with named equipment brands such as DeWalt, Stanley, Black+Decker, Fluke, Draper, Elora, Clarke, Groz, Zoomlion, Roots, ELGi or Servo is an advantage.
• Negotiation, reporting, communication and customer management skills.
• Microsoft Office ability; a driving licence and willingness to travel are advantages.
