Engineering – Process Engineer II at ABNL Limited – QIT, Akwa Ibom

ABNL Limited is recruiting a contract Process Engineer II for QIT, Akwa Ibom State, to lead process-design work and provide technical oversight during major engineering project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead junior engineers and design teams in basic process design, heat and material balances, flow plans, equipment sizing, hydraulic and utility balances, process controls, instrumentation, material selection and safety systems.
• Conduct process optimisation studies covering costs, configurations and safety requirements.
• Review contractor deliverables during front-end and detailed engineering for alignment with company requirements and project specifications.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews for new and modified facilities.
• Support commissioning and start-up and assist with process organisation and staffing.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in petroleum refining, the chemical-process industry or an engineering contractor serving those industries.
• Capital-project development experience.
• Ability to manage changing priorities, substantial workloads and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluent technical and business English.
