Sales Development Representative (UK Market) at Flutterwave – Lekki, Lagos

Flutterwave is hiring a Sales Development Representative in Lekki, Lagos, for its UK Enterprise Sales pipeline. The role identifies UK prospects, develops relationships, qualifies opportunities and arranges sales handovers.

Sales responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prospect pipeline targeting UK merchants and enterprise customers.
• Run email, telephone and LinkedIn outreach to UK decision-makers during UK business hours and in line with marketing rules.
• Qualify prospects, nurture relationships, book meetings and pass viable opportunities to sales closers.
• Develop UK-focused prospecting strategies and contribute to sales targets and playbook improvements.
• Monitor UK payments, fintech and competitive developments, supporting account onboarding and cross-selling.
• Assist with administrative and FX-related activities for a small portfolio of existing UK enterprise clients.
• Protect personal data in accordance with applicable privacy rules, including UK GDPR and PECR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or a related discipline.
• Five to nine years’ sales development experience with evidence of meeting or exceeding targets.
• In-depth knowledge of UK commercial buyers, payments and fintech, and experience prospecting into UK businesses.
• Understanding of UK payments and outbound-sales regulations and proficiency with CRM tools.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, written and spoken communication, analytical and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively while working UK business hours.
• Existing UK fintech, e-commerce, travel or payments networks are advantageous.
